Climate Education: New York Teachers on the Frontlines
On December 12th, 2022, the Climate & Resilience Education Task Force and its Youth Steering Committee facilitated a panel with four New York City middle and high school teachers. The panelists discussed how they teach about climate change, the successful methods they use in their respective subject areas, and why a transformation of our education system is necessary to prepare K-12 students for a climate-altered world.
