‘Business as usual’ climate communication and education (CCE) in the United States is failing to achieve the large-scale, systemic changes needed to respond to the climate crisis. This webinar explores what ‘quality CCE’ means in different places through an exciting new series of case studies. Learn about a ‘whole school approach’ being used by an Earthship-style primary school in Argentina, professional development workshops where primary and secondary school students in the UK are ‘teaching their teachers’ to deliver more effective CCE,  a ‘deep canvassing’ project that is increasing support for climate action in Canadian mining communities through vulnerable conversations, and high school students are advocating for expansive climate education policies in New York.  Join us as we explore ways to unlock the potential of CCE for mobilizing climate action in the US and beyond.
