Policy
The Task Force advocates for climate education policy that is interdisciplinary, age-appropriate and aligned to New York State’s climate goals.

Teacher Support
The Task Force supports teachers and non-formal educators by providing them with vetted climate education resources, sharing events that advance professional learning, and building a community of practice for climate educators.
In 2021, in partnership with the United Federation of Teachers, CRETF conducted a NYC-wide survey to understand the landscape of climate education needs and resources.

We host meetings that are open to the public such as networking events, workshops, and speaker series. We collaborate with other organizations to create a community of practice around climate education.
